What To Expect

It is our goal, as we have all been patients ourselves, to provide you with the type of care we would expect to receive.

If you have current dental x-rays from another office, please forward these to us before your first appointment. If we do not have current x-rays at the time of the appointment, we will be taking a panoramic x-ray and four bitewing x-rays in additon to the comprehensive exam.

We request that you bring your insurance card(s). If you do not have dental insurance we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover,  and CareCredit.

Your first appointment will be approximately two hours long. At that time, I will go over your health and dental history with you. I will be performing a Vizilite oral cancer screening, a tempromandibular (TMJ) exam, a periodontal screening, and an evaluation for restorative dental needs. If time allows, a cleaning appointment will then follow your new patient exam.

Due to the multitude of different insurance companies and policies we cannot possibly know your policy and the coverage provided so please be aware that anything not covered by your insurance company will be your responsibility.  If the payment from your insurance company is not received within 60 days from the date of service, you will be expected to pay the balance in full. Submitting your insurance forms is a service that we are glad to provide our patients.

Please note that at this time we do not accept Medicaid (includind: CareSource, Buckeye, Molina, Paramount, and United Healthcare Community Plan), Healthy Start, or Medicare.

In the event that you are unable to keep your appointment, we request a minimum of 48 hours notice so that another patient may be seen.

Thank you for giving us opportunity to provide you with the best dental care.We would love to help you acheive and maintain a smile that you and others will admire.  If I or my staff can be of any further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to call us at 330-DEN-TIST.
